Prudential Required To Pay For The Review On Unclaimed Funds


Prudential Financial Inc., popularly known as the second among the largest U.S. life insurer has stated that it may be needed for them to pay the U.S. states as outside auditors examine if the company has truly complied with the rules on unclaimed and neglected funds.  As of the moment, the company is being investigated by third party auditor on behalf of 33 U.S. authorities regarding the company’s conformity with unclaimed property laws of these dominions, declared by the Newark, New Jersey-based Prudential.  According to Prudential, there is a high possibility that the audit might require an additional payment and a few changes in the company’s systems and procedures are necessary.
