North Sea Project Updated By Statoil And Associates


The Norway-established oil and gas manufacturer Statoil declared this day along with its associates think of investing 3.1 billion Norwegian krone to improve the Visund North field in the North Sea.  The investments reach an amount of more than $530 million.  The field is believed to have 29 million barrels of oil counterparts.  The funds are anticipated to be made up primarily of oil.  The production on the project is projected to start in autumn of 2013.  Statoil have possession of more than 50% of the plan, and its partners consist of Norway’s state-run oil firm, French oil giant Total and ConocoPhillips.
