$16M Raised From Boston Marathon Charity Programs


Contributors running for the sake of non-profit and community service organizations produced almost $16 million this year in the 115th running of the celebrated Boston Marathon.  The participating runners acquired entry through the Boston Athletic Association's Official Charity Program and John Hancock's Marathon Non-Profit Program.  This Boston Marathon has been known before to raise funds for local charitable institutions.  The B.A.A. is privileged that John Hancock has agreed to become a partner of this program.  Most runners have always dreamed of participating in the Boston Marathon and the charity programs helped them achieve their dreams and at the same time produce funds.
