For guys in Australia and NZ, here's where to get them:
smallparts(dot)com(dot)au – youtube sucks for linking web address … you can work it out
Click "Bearing" on list on the right
simple!
then scroll down the list to " Bearings – Thrust – Roller"
Select Bore (d Nom.) 12.7mm (that's 1/2 inch)
Place your order
2 x T-127-238-008-W 12.70 (Washers)
1 x T-127-238-ROL 12.70 (Bearing)
@IamaRifle I have never fired one.
What is your opinion on the M855A1 round?
@Conflicts317 I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. That makes all the difference to me and making more vidoes. Thank you.
yankeeprepper, this is a great little fix. A buddy and I added the tweak to our 650 and man what a difference. At first it was only marginal, but after a proper clean and re-grease it is smooth as butter. We would like to thank you for the tip. And keep up the great work.
great vid YP… your attention to detail and sharing it with us is appreciated.
@MCMXIautomatic Those are the most common rounds by far. I expect there to be alot around for decades after the SHTF. I know people that have 10's or THOUSANDS.
How easy do you think it will be to find 7.62×39 after the SHTF compared to 5.56/.223 and .308? I'd like to keep an AK running even after whatever ammo I have for it is exhausted.
@YP. I have a question for you concerning the Dillon. What happens to the old primer when it punches it out? Can that be recycled or something?
love it!
@1xirsx1 I am glad to hear this from you. It makes a big difference to me when I know I am no wasting time here. Thanks.
Hey YP, I did this recently, and it has made an absolutely amazing different. The action on my 650 is just smooth and beautiful now.
@kd7one If you feel comfortable machining, building, headspacing, and finishing a gun, then it shouldn't be difficult to build a safe firearm from an 80% AR receiver. But finishing an 80 percent AR receiver takes I high level of skill for a DIY'er. I would not do it without CNC ability in order to "do it right". This is much more difficult than bending an AK receiver and when you are done building an AR 15 receiver you are still stuck with the sucky 223.
@CPTMidnightMN I guess we disagree again. Kinda gets tiring huh?
with price of kits jumping up im curious to see what folks think about upgrading my ar 5.56 to 7.62×39? Im thinking that changing out the upper is more cost effective than buying another gun and the 7.62 clearly has the stopping power that the 5.56 lacks.
So what do you think?
@Yankeeprepper true
@boomd1791 Hehehehhehe…….
Best info on YouTube!
@Yankeeprepper wait, you need a license to eat ham?
I'm going to ask a dumb question: Reloaders in general. You buy this press and then insert whatever die would fit the caliber (correct word?) cartridge you needed? One reloader, multiple dies fitting my .32 Tomcat and/or 30-30 Marlin? Hell yeah I'm buying what you suggested. I may even wink at my uncle and have him give me one of his.
@DEMCAD You been putting out some great commentary out lately man. Reloading is real easy and you are plenty smart enough to do it. There are alot cheaper ways to do it too. A single stage press is cheap and very simple to work. Heck, reloading is SO easy, I think even Lic. HAM operators could probably do it.
Thanks for the tip. I've been saving my 20-06 cases just in case I want to reload. But the process kinda scares me.
80% ar-15 lowers are another way to have unregistered rifles
@redraptor26 it be kinda dumb to have 50 cal ammo with out it right?
do you have a .50 cal rifle???
